PRAGUE: CHEAP, CRAZY, CULTURAL

Same procedure as every year... it was about time for a common girl's trip.

Jenni and Moni on tour- where are we heading this year?

It had to be a destination with little flight time, a city adventure and of course on a cheap charlie basis. (The cheap charlie might become an own chapter later on :-)

Pretty fast the wonderful city of Prague came to our minds.Said & done: We booked cheap flights and a central hotel (actually with hostel character).

*Well that's not exactly how it started: That trip our last rememberence of the Good Ol Days has a much better origin. As always, the best starts with the unexpected. A great promotion giving you 5 options of your vacation best behaviour. What are you? Tanning on the beach-kinda girl? Flipping ancient stones? Fill your empty heart with shopping bags? Whatever suits you, the airline didn´t care because you were in for the ride. You pay and 24 hrs before the trip they would let you know your destination. Beauty of it, destiny is already written, so there we went...

Here we met those 2 nice guys from Australia who convinced us into joining them for Pub Crawl this evening. After a sunny afternoon and first sightseeing (without jacket in November!!) we met a group of -perceived- 30 people in our age - from all over at the world famous townhall clock.  Well, from now on it was all about "Let's do bar hopping, explore the coolest bars in Prague (that allow Pub Crawl guests with an all inclusive flatrate strap. Unlimited beer, wine, wodka cranberry shots and absinth...chatting with strange people about god and the world, dancing and trying to find the resting place in the early morning hours.

The sun that woke us up the next morning expunsed any marks we gained in one of the biggest clubs in Europe and we ended up shippering on the Moldau with beautiful views and cheap beer.

Well, I forgot that part after all that partying, flashbacks coming to my mind of gulping down cheap alc standing on a park bench. After walking through the old streets, passing THE cementary twice and still not feeling of going in, watching Street artist of any kinds, finally we went to what a country is judged by in the end: It´s sweet and innocent chocolatiers. Jeez, I miss those days, where you can drink the whole night, exchange multicultural saliva, go on a boat tour without leaving parts behind over the railing and still shuffel 10 different kind of candy bars in your mouth.

As always, where we meet rocks!
